ITSector closed the 1st half of 2020 with a growth of 25% compared to the same period of 2019, corresponding to a turnover of 13 million euros. These numbers are the result of teamwork and the pre-existence of remote mode experience to serve some customers.
During the confinement phase, ITSector acquired three new major clients, being two of them international, and its foreign market turnover reached 50%.
"The results verified in the semester come mainly from the reinforcement of the activity based on three mainstays: the exclusive focus on the financial sector, the capacity to carry out projects in different geographies, including North America, and the perimeter of services to implement modern architectures and digital transformation.", highlighted Jorge Bravo, Vice-President and Board Member of ITSector.
Still, in the 1st semester, 38 new employees were hired. "Mainly professionals with deep financial knowledge, for profiles of Business Analyst, Project Manager, and Testers, whereas on the technical side we are privileging competences in the mobile and security area.", Jorge Ferreira, Vice-President and Board Member of ITSector.
The year 2020 has required a major adaptation on the employees’ side. The effectiveness of ITSector's response to containment measures, using 100% remote work, combined with the strengthening of infrastructure measures in terms of accessibility, performance, and safety, allowed the teams to continue serving national and international customers with high levels of productivity and to reach the goals outlined.
Thank you all for the effort and dedication to this project that is ITSector.
